1. Agreement and provider
SoundTick is provided by Zenari. By downloading, purchasing, accessing or using SoundTick, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SoundTick.
The terms of the store through which you obtained SoundTick also apply. For SoundTick obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to your licence to use the app.
If a mandatory store term conflicts with these SoundTick Terms of Use, the mandatory store term controls to the extent of that conflict.
2. Independent application and trademarks
SoundTick is an independent application. It is not produced by, affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Bose Corporation. Bose, SoundTouch and related marks are trademarks of Bose Corporation and are used only to explain intended compatibility.
References to a third-party product or service do not imply that the third party sponsors, guarantees or supports SoundTick.
3. Licence
Subject to these terms and applicable store rules, Zenari grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use SoundTick on devices you own or control for lawful personal use.
SoundTick and its original software, design, content and brand remain owned by or licensed to Zenari. No ownership right is transferred to you. Third-party names, marks, software and content remain the property of their respective owners.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use SoundTick to access or control a speaker, device or network without permission.
- Interfere with security, availability, local-network traffic or another person's use of their devices.
- Bypass, disable or manipulate access, purchase, entitlement or complimentary-period controls.
- Sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or commercially exploit SoundTick without written permission.
- Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer SoundTick except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use SoundTick or a custom stream to infringe copyright, privacy or other legal rights.
5. Devices, networks and compatibility
SoundTick is intended for supported Bose SoundTouch speakers that are reachable on the same secure private network as your phone. Discovery and available controls can depend on speaker model, firmware, router settings, multicast or local-network behaviour, phone permissions, operating system and third-party services.
Zenari does not promise compatibility with every Bose product, SoundTouch model, firmware release, router, phone or future operating system. You are responsible for your devices, network, permissions, speaker volume and safe use. Keep devices on a trusted private network.
6. 60-day complimentary access
SoundTick provides 60 days of full complimentary access without asking you to enter payment-card details in SoundTick. The complimentary period does not start an app-store subscription, does not renew and does not automatically charge you when it ends.
The start and continued availability of complimentary access may be established using verified store acquisition information and locally stored access state. The period is SoundTick app access and is separate from any introductory offer or promotional trial displayed by Apple, Google or another store.
7. Optional subscriptions
When complimentary access ends, you may actively choose an in-app subscription to continue full access. Available monthly, yearly or other options, prices, currencies, billing periods and introductory terms are supplied in the app by the applicable store. The offer shown at confirmation is the controlling purchase offer; website descriptions do not replace it.
A subscription begins only after you select an offer and confirm the purchase through your store account. Subscriptions may renew automatically after purchase unless cancelled through the relevant store before renewal. Removing SoundTick does not cancel a subscription.
You can use Restore Purchases and, where available, Manage Subscription inside SoundTick. Apple or Google handles billing, cancellation and refund requests under its rules. Zenari cannot directly change a store's account, billing record or refund decision.
8. RevenueCat and platform services
SoundTick uses RevenueCat and the applicable platform store to present purchase options, verify entitlement status, restore purchases and provide subscription-management destinations. Those services are operated by third parties and apply their own terms and privacy policies.
Store or RevenueCat interruption may temporarily prevent SoundTick from verifying paid or complimentary access. SoundTick may ask you to connect to the internet and retry verification rather than granting unverified access.
9. Radio, streams and third-party content
Radio stations, stream URLs, artwork, directories, platform purchasing, hosting, sharing and other third-party content or services are supplied by others. They may change, move, fail, become unavailable or carry separate geographic, licensing or usage restrictions.
Zenari does not own or guarantee third-party content and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality, quality or continued availability. You are responsible for any custom stream URL you add and for ensuring that your use of streams and content is lawful.
10. Updates and availability
We may improve, replace, restrict, suspend or discontinue a feature to address security, compatibility, law, third-party change or product quality. Updates may be required for continued use. SoundTick is provided on an “as available” basis and uninterrupted, error-free or permanent operation is not guaranteed.
Bose, a radio provider, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, a router vendor or another third party may change a service or protocol outside Zenari's control. SoundTick cannot guarantee that a previously working feature will remain available after such a change.
11. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoundTick is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for backups, device and network security, suitable speaker volume, lawful content use and the consequences of commands sent from your phone.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zenari is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss; lost content, opportunity or enjoyment; network or device failure; third-party service failure; or damage caused by unauthorised access. Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or changes a consumer guarantee, remedy, right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, limit or change.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, fraud, security risk, legal requirements or a serious breach of these terms. You may stop using SoundTick at any time. Sections intended by their nature to continue—including ownership, disclaimers and applicable limitations—survive termination.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SoundTick, applicable law or third-party services change. The date above will be updated, and a material change may also be communicated in the app or website. Continued use after an updated version takes effect indicates acceptance where permitted by law; if you do not agree, stop using SoundTick.
