What you need to know
SoundTick cannot guarantee every feature on every Bose SoundTouch model, firmware, router or phone. Automatic discovery may be blocked by network isolation, individual radio streams can change, grouping varies by speaker state, and device-local favourites can be lost when app storage is removed.
Speaker and network boundaries.
- The phone and speaker must be reachable on the same secure private network.
- Guest isolation, multicast restrictions, VPNs and managed networks can block automatic discovery.
- Manual IP entry can address discovery restrictions but cannot add unsupported speaker capabilities.
- Model, firmware, source state and current speaker condition can change available controls.
- Compatible grouping depends on every intended speaker and its current state.
Radio and third-party boundaries.
- Stations and directories control stream URLs, formats, availability and geographic restrictions.
- A station listing can outlive the stream behind it.
- Browser-only, authenticated or unsupported streams may not play on the speaker path.
- Apple, Google and subscription services control live offers, billing, cancellation and refunds.
Device-local data boundaries.
Favourites, recent stations, virtual presets and related preferences are stored on the device. Reinstalling the app, clearing storage or changing devices can remove data that has not been backed up through an available app function.
SoundTick does not require a cloud identity account for everyday local speaker control, so there is no SoundTick cloud profile that automatically reconstructs all local library data.

Send the exact model, firmware, phone platform, SoundTick version, network conditions, date tested and reproducible result to zenari.dev@gmail.com. Zenari will distinguish a confirmed correction from a setup-specific report.
