SoundTick guidance distinguishes documentary evidence, repository or build validation, controlled functional checks, and live device or storefront acceptance. A claim is limited to the strongest evidence actually available and keeps untested model, network and store conditions visible.
Four evidence levels prevent overclaiming.
Primary-source review
Official Bose, Apple, Google or provider information supports claims about their own services, policies and documented behavior.
Repository and static validation
Source inspection, focused tests and builds show that a path is implemented and internally consistent; they do not prove a physical speaker or live store accepted it.
Controlled functional validation
A repeatable test checks the intended inputs, visible result and failure handling on a specified setup.
Live acceptance
The exact app build, physical device, speaker, network, purchase environment or storefront is exercised and recorded. Results remain specific to that tested setup.
Compatibility reports need enough detail to be reusable.

- Grouping works for every combination because one speaker is reachable.
